Operating from two facilities in Willingboro, NJ, the company is a world leader for manufacturing refractory metals-- Tantalum, Tungsten and Molybdenum. The company is also the premiere toll converter of Tantalum metal for the capacitor, vacuum melting, and metallurgical industries.

      WHAT WE DO
      The company also produces Tantalum Oxide and Hydride for world renowned primary manufacturers of high performance metallurgical materials. Our customers are producers of carbide-cutting tools that are sold in the mining industry, and to firms that have various metal machining applications.


      Finally, Hi-Temp also processes Tantalum in the form of capacitors for Tantalum powder manufacturers, which supports the electronic capacitor industry.


      OUR PROCESS
      Hi-Temp purchases materials from the electronics, lighting, and glass industry. The actual process involves analysis, rigorous testing, physical sorting, crushing, washing and chemical treatment. Testing is done for quality control purposes at several stages of production. The aerospace industry, in particular, has rigorous quality standards, and the company adheres to these standards.
